TUI Blue Nevis Resort 4 *

A reader stayed recently (2025) and loved their stay here. She said the bedroom had a super king plus a single sofa bed and double sofa bed and double sofa bed in the living room. She said, “plus we had a cot in there too and was loads of room. .. there is also a fridge and kettle but no kitchenette, but as it is all inclusive it didn’t matter to us”.

She also helpfully explained “there was a UK regulated kids club, They had a baby club as well as kids clubs so under 3s could go too, splash park for the kids plus big slides for adults and indoor heated pool which was useful in May and the food was fab, highly recommend.” Food wise, the Taverna was great where you can book once per stay per week. Louis St. Elias Resort & Waterpark 4*

The contemporary Louis St Elias Resort hotel has studios for up to three people, as well as one and two bedroomed suites which can accommodate up to 4 and 6 respectively.. All the rooms are light and bright, and come equipped with a microwave, a mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.

Kids will enjoy the splash play zone, a swimming pool with a bar and terrace, a Jacuzzi, 2 kids clubs and a playground, tennis court, a second pool which includes three water slides (Children below the age of 6 and/or under the minimum height of 120cm are not allowed to use the water slides). However, there is kids splash pool with water features and games for younger ones.

Crete

We have enjoyed a couple of trips to Crete, including a stay at The Grecotel below. Our full review of the hotel is here. We’ve also stayed in the busier hub of Hersonissos – which a lot more lively but closer to a lot of fun family days out if you don’t want to travel far.

Grecotel Creta Palace Crete 5*

This was recommended to us by friends so we booked for October and loved it! The food was excellent (not always the case at an All Inclusive) and we loved the resort layout – it was set out like an older Greek village. This was nice to meander around the resort.

I’ve included lots of our pictures so you can get a feel for the place. We had a 2 bed place – so our room had a double bed, the TV, a balcony etc and the girls room was two twin beds.

There were tea and coffee facilities and a small fridge in the room and we also had a balcony.

There are several pools, including an indoor pool and a kids’ club plus it is right on the sandy beach.

Euphoria Resort Crete 5*

Another one recommended by one of our readers in our 108, 000 strong Facebook group – who said the family rooms are great. There isn’t a beach on site – the nearest is about 2km away. The welcome is great with calming white and soft wood tones and a welcome drink with cold towels. All inclusive includes Unlimited access to à la carte dining options and snacks and ice-cream.

There is daily replenishment of the minibar with soft drinks, bottled water and beer. So the rooms are kind of separate- the main bedroom and then a door to two twins.

The food buffet was good and the staff wonderful and kind. The little bar on the grass area was so chilled in the afternoon to enjoy a cocktail. The pools were good with shade available. It was busy but we did manage to always grab a spot. The beach area also had sunbeds too.

Corfu town is 20 mins drive away and you can walk to other parts of Gouvia or catch a bus. The Dreams resort holiday is available on Jet2 and TUI

Pirates Village 3* Santa Ponsa

If you’re looking for a busy complex full of fantasy this is the place for you! The hotel is themed all around pirates. Whilst this doesn’t have two separate bedrooms, the one bedroomed apartments have a separate lounge area (and sofa beds). There is A LOT to do here with children are invited to take part in pirate games to protect the pool in the splash park. The kids’ club is free and open to those 3+ with no pre-booking required.

Readers of Flying With a Baby have said they preferred the Terrace rooms. These have their own sunbeds and private garden (with a gate so little ones can’t access the pool). This means you don’t have to rush for the sun beds and it’s just easier to go back to your room or let the kids nap whilst you can sunbathe.

The Pirates Village features several swimming pools with slides, a games room and a movie theatre. There is also a weekly pirate show!

Board wise, you can choose options of self-catering or all-inclusive with a pool bar and a buffet restaurant. There is only one main restaurant so all inclusive might be a bit much for you for a week or longer. )You can upgrade if you want to). A reader from our 108,000 strong Travel With Babies and Toddler FB group, mentioned the cocktails are from a machine, so just something to bear in mind. If you are self catering there is a supermarket next door and a bakery.

The hotel is close to nearby restaurants and bars and is 400m from the nearest beach. All rooms comprise of: TV (some English TV channels including CBBC) wifi, a safety deposit box, a hairdryer, A kitchenette with kettle, fridge, microwave and air conditioning.  It’s not far to Palma, making it a short transfer from the airport or city visit.

Protur Bonaire Cala Bonaire – Cala Bona 4*

Whilst not two separate bedrooms and a lounge, the Protur Aparthotel Bonaire is a 4-star hotel, set in spacious grounds, aimed at families and has 1 bedroomed apartments with a separate lounge and sofa bed area.

Protur Aparthotel Bonaire is one of the first hotels we stayed in with our toddler. The hotel includes a winding, river-style pool and a children’s splash park with slides and a giant pirate ship with a slide! The shallow splash area around the ship was perfect for her and the All Inclusive ice-creams!

It is a short, two- minute walk from a sandy and shingle beach with a great pizza place that we visited a couple of times.

The resort of Cala Bona is around a ten-minute walk away with Cala Millor, a bigger resort, a little further away.

At Protur Aparthotel Bonaire there are options of either half-board or all inclusive with the option of visits to an a la carte restaurant. We went All inclusive but still ate out a couple for times just outside the hotel. The food is what I would call normal – nothing amazing but perfectly edible. I would have liked to have seen more Spanish dishes. Breakfast was always nice.

Rooms contain a kitchenette and air conditioning and have a separate room and living area with sofa bed and ample space for a cot.

We stayed here with our 18 month old who LOVED the kids’ club and the pool area! We liked the separate room so when she went to sleep, we could stay up and enjoy some wine and chat. Gavimar La Mirada  3*

Half board or all-inclusive boards are available from the pool bar and restaurant on resort. Rooms include: a safety deposit box, hairdryer, coffee making facilities, double cooking rings, fridge, kettle, a microwave and air conditioning between May and  September. All rooms are one or two bedroomed.

Sol Katmandu Park and Resort – 4* Magaluf

This 4-star hotel is a family favourite with a small theme park included, 2 outdoor pools and entertainment in the evening. It is very close to the Magaluf resort centre and the beach meaning there is even a lot to do outside of the hotel as well. (Can be noisy at night if you are street facing)

The hotel is available on a bed and breakfast, half board or all-inclusive with buffet restaurant and two bars. All inclusive 2 bedroom suites come equipped with: a safety deposit box, fridge and air conditioning between the 1^st of May and 31^st of October.

Entertainment was great for the kids on an evening too. Everything is close by including the shops outside of the hotel. The pool had slides that were great for adults and teenagers as well as our 3 years old but the hotel also has a great baby / toddler pool next to the bigger one. Portugal 

Eden Resort, 4*Albufeira.

One of our readers, Sarah loved the Eden Resort. She wrote this about it for us;

“Where do we start. We were blown away be Eden resort. How they cater for children is just amazing. There’s so much they don’t advertise.

They had everything you could need for babies and toddlers. Bed guards and stair gates as standard! Toys to borrow from reception as well as games to pick. All for FREE!!! A deposit has to be left for the baby items like sterilisers/bottle warmers and even pushchairs. We just couldn’t believe it. In the accommodation they left cutlery and tableware for the children (Ikea specials).

Then there’s the splash park, the pictures don’t do it justice. A whole area and 3 different sections for the splash pools. Then there’s the normal pool just up from it.

The kids club although it’s from 4 years old they have an outdoor area outside which is soft flooring and during the daytime put mats and toys out and even create a playpen for babies with toys for all ages. So suitable from birth!

The food in the restaurant is lovely however at evening meal be prepared as it is what we called “carnage” it’s a mainly English resort and it doesn’t open until 6.30pm so there’s lots of children and families wanting to get food asap and it runs out quickly. Hopefully as the season goes on they will replenish it quicker than it was in May when we went. Highchairs everywhere and lovely staff. We didn’t notice towards the end of our stay it was getting a lot busier as it was coming up to half term.

The accommodation was huge! We had a 2 bedroom apartment and had read on here before booking that the apartments are ample size. We walked past the villas and my word they were humongous.

The staff move all your luggage for you via golf buggies around the resort and will pick you up from your rooms when you want a ride to reception.

Our only grumble is the housekeeping. They didn’t clean or change the beds once whilst we were there. You apparently have to ask reception for this to be done as they are trying to become sustainable.

The bus down to the town has child seats on it too so your children are safe whilst travelling.

We used bolt a few times to get a taxi to take us back to the resort due to having pushchairs and it being quite hilly and lots of steps we got lost and so easier to call for a ride back. There’s also the option to ask reception to order you transport to places. We used it to go to zoomarine and the company they use for taxis the gentleman was lovely and helpful.

We went with Jet2 and couldn’t fault them. They are all so helpful.

Just completely blown away by the resort and would recommend it to any young families. There was so many children with multiples as well which made us feel at ease as we had twins travelling with us. Most families help each other. It was just such a lovely week and so happy we found somewhere like this that actually caters for younger children and families.”

A reader just came back from the Golden Taurus Aquapark Resort in Pineda de Mar (and booked via TUI) and they highly recommend it. Rooms have a king bed and then a separate room with two twins and a balcony.

She liked the separate bedroom for our daughter with a sliding door between her room.
She said, “this hotel has 5 swimming pools, a play park, a giant sandpit, water park on site, a kids club at the hotel as well and the food was great.”

Bahia Principe Fantasia Tenerife 5* is all about families. There is plenty of kid-friendly entertainment on offer, as well as baby rooms in each accommodation block that provide microwaves, bottle heaters and buggy storage.  

The Bahia has a few different room options for families to choose from. And in addition to the room types, there are also different views.

One of the affordable rooms at the hotel is suitable for a single parent and a child. And that is a superior room which features a large double bed and a balcony. 

If you’re like us and enjoy having a separate seating area from the bedroom, then the Bahia’s family suites will be right up your alley. Family rooms again have a large double bed and a sofa bed. Interconnecting doors separate the sofa bed and the main bedroom, allowing you to have some privacy while the kids are asleep.

One of our readers loved how the fake grass kept the floor from getting too hot and mentioned it was great for little babies around the little pool too. The foam party on a Wednesday was also a hit. Tui Magic Life Calabria

Tui Magic Life Calabria has been recommended by a reader recently. There are split level rooms and 2 bedroom options with a fridge and terrace/balcony. It doesn’t have a kitchenette or a lounge but this wasn’t an issue as its all-inclusive with excellent food choices. The sports facilities, pools and beach are excellent and it is extremely child, family and buggy friendly.

Another reader mentioned, “we’ve just come back from here – great for kids. The rooms are brilliant as we got the family rooms as standard which means you can sleep separately from the kids in separate adjoining rooms.

The splash park is good for little ones but the slides etc are more for older kids I would say. The other pools are deep and don’t offer a “shallow end” which is my only real negative – there’s no baby pool as such, just the splash park. We travelled with a 3 year old and 18 month old.”
