Villages Nature® Paris – A unique family holiday resort close to Disneyland®

How does an eco friendly family holiday resort within easy reach of the UK, 6km from Disneyland® Paris with a tropical aqua park paradise; an adventure forest; a spa for parents; natural lake with a beach for sunny days; a farm where kids can collect chicken eggs, look after the goats and ponies; a fun indoor play area, kids’ & baby club; restaurants & shops sound? There is so much more too!

I’ve recently heard about Villages Nature® Paris . This exciting new resort is the result of a collaboration between Euro Disney SCA and the Pierre et Vacances Center Parcs Group. For latest prices see here.

Just like Center Parcs, the idea is organised fun with a number of classes and activities set in five recreational and immersive ‘worlds’: Aqualagon, Bellevie Farm, Forest of Legends, Extraordinary Gardens and Lakeside Promenade.

With a strong commitment to the environment and sustainability, this resort aims to be that little bit different: Whether you are looking for a family activity, something sporty,  or are a nature lover, a thrill seeker or a foodie.

With a huge range of activities in a resort focussing on blending nature with architecture – everyone from tots to teens and parents are catered for. Similarly to Center Parcs,  Villages Nature®  has many activities available for free.

A huge draw is the Aqualagon, with the indoor area opening onto an outdoor lagoon – all heated with geothermal energy that is set 30°C all year long so you can enjoy both the inside and outside areas whatever the weather. This water park also encompasses several giant waterslides, a wave pool, splash pad, adventure river, 2 indoor paddling pools, 2 outdoor paddling pools, 3 jacuzzis and a climbing wall. Parents are not forgotten with a Deep Nature® spa with 5 treatment rooms and a semi-aquatic outdoor lounging area.

Other activities include; a soft play • adventure playground • the farm • a maze • discovery trails • a treasure hunt • bowling • bee keeping • bread making • paddle boarding • raft making • canoeing • kids’ club • wine tasting classes • mini disco • concerts at the waterfront • The website lists about 120 activities in total.

How to Reach Villages Nature®

Central Paris with small kids can be a little daunting. At Villages Nature® Paris, these minor transport & meal issues dissipate. Whether you are flying with a baby, toddler or teen, you will find  easy access from Paris CDG Airport (10 minutes) and 30 minutes from Paris on the RER A line or via the Eurostar and bus, many step issues are avoided too.

The resort is conveniently easily accessible from Disneyland® Paris, (a short public bus ride from right outside the resort) making it a great option to combine a trip to Disneyland®. For some great planning tips on visiting Disneyland Paris see here.

Restaurants

Stroller accessible restaurants have family friendly opening hours.  Cepage Wine Bar is open Monday till Sunday: 9:AM til Midnight. However, if your little ones want breakfast before that (I know mine do!) the Bakerie Meunier is open Monday till Sunday: 7:30 AM till 8:30 PM which offers a breakfast delivery service!

Other restaurants also serving fresh and local produce include, an Italian restaurant and a wine bar, The Lagon Café, Délices de La Ferme and the Bowling Bar. Conveniently, there is also an on-site grocery store open daily from 07.30.

Cheerfully decorated standard accommodation ‘Clan Comfort Cottage’ can sleep 4 or 6 in 2 or 3 bedrooms.
