Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, as mentioned above is the sister hotel to the Beach Club Resort – a beautiful New England style lakeside hotel. It’s a Disney hotel with a lazy river as above.
Both hotels share the adventure-packed waterpark Stormalong Bay where you can enjoy waterslides or relax on the lazy river as the tube gently moves you around. There are five outdoor pools and the hotel is on the Skyliner route.

This budget friendly resort in Kissimmee has a lazy river, two heated pools, and two water slides (must be 48″ to ride), plus a splash pad for younger ones. The two bedroomed, two bathroom villas can accommodate six guests and come with a full fitted kitchen and washer and dryer.
Kids will enjoy all the activities ranging from arts and craft: making piggy banks, sun catchers etc to scavenger hunts and poolside games plus tennis etc. Kids’ activities are free or very reasonably priced. There is free transportation to all parks.

Flamingo Waterpark Resort in Kissimmee conveniently hosts a water park and family friendly accommodation. The family suites are equipped with bunk beds for the kids.

The fairly new Grove Resort Orlando is where we stayed and one of the Orlando resorts with a lazy river and water slides. The onsite Surfari waterpark has the all important fun lazy river and tubes, sandy beach areas, several pools, a boating lake with swan boats, modern, fully equipped apartments/condo style, an onsite restaurant, wifi.
You can choose between one, two and three bedroomed suites, which either have an ensuite or bathroom nearby. We absolutely LOVED our first stay here and returned a second time. In hindsight, check where your room will be. During our first visit, our room was near to the pool and other facilities. On our second it was a long walk away, through many winding passages and the common areas looked a little tired already.

Hilton Orlando, International drive is an official Walt Disney Hotel with access to Disney fast pass+ extra magic hours shuttle to the parks with a valid ticket.
On site there is a splash pad, slides, and of course the lazy river nestled in a tropical oasis. Suites have a separate living area and all rooms come with a mini fridge and coffee maker plus Crabtree and Evelyn amenities. Some rooms have a great view of the park fireworks!

Liki Tiki Village by Diamond Resorts in Kissimmee has a small Liki Tiki Lagoon water park with an erupting volcano, paddle boats, plus a separate children’s area and playground.
Whilst, it doesn’t sport the traditional lazy river, this family resort near Orlando, does have jets swirl around the central volcano, allowing you to gently drift around. The resort boasts Polynesian-themed buildings house one, two and three-bedroom condos with separate living and dining rooms, fully-equipped kitchens and washers and dryers.

12. Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, Orlando Star Rating: 5*
Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate is an impressive Orlando hotel with a lazy river – a 260-metre-long meandering lazy river, zero-entry family pool, slides and wave pool. Other activities include an arcade game area, golf and basketball.
Standard rooms have a mini refrigerator and a full size tub. For an open kitchen, built-in wet bar and washer and dryer units, upgrade to a villa.
The Omni Kids’ Crew program caters to little ones. Upon check-in, kids receive a backpack filled with fun items designed specifically for them. Kids also receive milk and cookies delivered to their guest room on the first night. The Omni Kids Crew coloring menu is also available at restaurants, with crayons and an Omni Kids Crew cup.
Onsite is Camp Omni Kids Escape: With kid-friendly dinners, movies, video games, board games and other entertaining activities.
Kids Escape is a great place for children to hang out while you enjoy an adults-only dinner or other activity. With seven pools with slides and a lazy river, the Holiday Inn Club Vacations is sure to be a hit with the kids.
Onsite are 4 golf courses, table tennis, billiards, indoor activities like the arcade, movie theatre room, and Swampy’s kids’ club. Be aware you do need to pay a fee to use a tube for the lazy river. Some other activities do come at a cost, such as the HIPPO slide, cabanas, and jet skis; however, all 7 of the pools are free to use.
There are a range of accommodation options available for all budgets from studios with fully-equipped kitchens to three-bedroom villas with separate living rooms, washers and dryers and pull-out sofas.

14. Reunion Resort A Salamander Golf & Spa Resort 5*
The Reunion Resort in Kissimmee, is another Orlando area hotel with a lazy river which is located less than seven miles from Disney.
It features one to three bedroom luxury villas and multi-bedroom vacation homes. The villas offer spacious living and dining areas, full kitchens and balconies and you can even spy the Disney fireworks from certain locations!
The resort features a tranquil boutique spa, Kids’ Crew day program (closed during the winter season), six lighted tennis courts, 11 pools and a water park that includes a zero entry pool, waterslide and a whopping 1,000-foot lazy river.
There are also a number of outdoor activities such as bicycle and walking trails plus a games area including ping pong and a pool table at The Cove.

17. Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort 3*
The Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort sits adjacent to the Walt Disney World Resort and has one to four-bedroom suites that can sleep up to twelve guests.
The hotel is nestled within woodlands and part of the Bonnet Creek Resorts area. The resort is surrounded on each side by the Walt Disney World® Resort and is just off Epcot Drive, providing easy access to Interstate 4 and the Osceola Parkway.
If you are looking for Orlando vacation rentals with a lazy river, then you are in luck. There are several properties at this resort: timeshare/vacation ownership (can be booked similar to hotel; and a hotel type property.
Some rooms have a mini fridge, bunk beds for kids and a coffee machine. The timeshare units have full kitchens which allows you to bring groceries.
