J.K.Rowling has installed a love of Harry Potter which spans generations and will no doubt continue to do so. With the UK being the backdrop for many of the book and movie scenes, it is of no surprise that there are an array of wizarding themed or Harry Potter themed places to stay in the UK and Ireland, (and worldwide themed Harry Potter hotels and accommodation too!)
Whilst none are official places for ‘The Boy Who Lived’ and his friends (hurry up Universal Studios), the nod to the books is clear with wonderful magical wizarding theming. For Harry Potter fans, these Harry Potter themed hotels and accommodation are a must to add to your list! (If you are visiting the Harry Potter Warner Bros Studio Tour, this other guide to the closest places to stay (not themed) may be useful too!)
