Family Travel Tips Linky #17

Welcome back to the Family Travel Tips Linky! Half term is over and we are still away! Shhhhhhhhhh! With patchy WiFi places it’s been tricky posting but we are having a lovely time connecting as a family. To be honest the time away from all things digital has been pretty liberating. What have you been up to this half-term? Have you been at home exploring local Halloween or pumpkin activities or a bit further afield?

This linky we are feeling a little bit Christmassy and are linking up posts which should help you in the Midlands and Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire area too.

Nat has linked up her post visiting on 21 Christmas Days Out in West Midlands and I have linked up my post on the best places to meet Santa in Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Rutland.

Feature Posts

Every fortnight, Natalie and I each choose a post to feature from those that linked up last time. This week I have chosen the Ladybird’s Adventures post on things to do with kids in the Lake District. Nat has chosen a great post in one of my favourite places – South Africa. Go Live Young explores the Garden Route.

The Family Travel Tips Linky

The #familytraveltips linky is a simple concept. Travel tips by parents, for parents all in one place. Whether it’s a review, days out, attractions, holiday inspiration at home or abroad. We’d love to hear all about the amazing things you can do in your local area just as much as your exotic holiday destination.

Apart from finding new family travel blogs to read full of tips and inspiration, Nat and I will comment on your blog and others will have the opportunity to do so. We will share all your posts on at least one social media channel, if not more. There is a family travel tips Pinterest board so anything that has a Pinterest image will be shared on there. It’s a group board so let us know if you’d like to be added so you can pin all your travel posts. I’ll also be sharing blog posts on Twitter, Facebook, and Flipboard. Feel free to use #familytraveltips on Instagram and Twitter too so we can retweet your tweets and give some love to your Instagram posts.

The Rules:

1.Any family travel-related posts are welcome! (No more than two please) This may include; but is not limited to days out, attractions, reviews and holidays.
2.Please include the Family Travel Tips badge on your post or link back to the hosts.
3.It would be amazing if you could comment on the two hosts posts plus two more posts that have linked up.
4.Tweet @plutoniumsox or @flyingwithbaby with the hashtag #familytraveltips for a retweet and use the hashtag on Instagram so we can show some love to your posts over there too.
5.The linky will go live once a fortnight on a Tuesday and will stay open until the following Tuesday.
6.We will each feature our favourite post from the previous week in the following week’s linky, so you’ll get an extra link from us if you’re chosen.

Grab The Badge

Please grab the badge and link up your family travel tips posts. We look forward to reading them and sharing our favourites on social media.
