Family Travel Tips #5
Welcome back to family travel tips #5! What have you been up to recently? My husband has been off gallivanting in Barcelona, so the girls and I have stayed close to home visiting friends. We have taken the dog to a new haunt that we have discovered – Barnack Hills and Holes. A perfect place for kids to burn off some energy outdoors plus its doggy heaven with lots of exciting places to explore.
I’m linking up a great guest post this week by Laura Wood on tips for surviving Long Car Journeys With Kids. Some fabulous tips if you are planning a long car journey at home or abroad this coming half term.
Nat is linking up her post on family friendly activities in the West- Mids for May half term.
Every fortnight, Natalie and I each choose a post to feature from those that linked up last time. This week I have kept with the road trip theme and have chosen the Pigeon Pairs and Me post on stops to make in South Holland. The town of Delft looks absolutely stunning. Nat has also chosen a road trip post by Smudged Postcard, on driving around Sicily.
The Family Travel Tips Linky
The #familytraveltips linky is a simple concept. Travel tips by parents, for parents all in one place. Whether it’s a review, days out, attractions, holiday inspiration at home or abroad. We’d love to hear all about the amazing things you can do in your local area just as much as your exotic holiday destination.
Apart from finding new family travel blogs to read full of tips and inspiration, Nat and I will comment on your blog and others will have the opportunity to do so. We will share all your posts on at least one social media channel, if not more. There is a family travel tips Pinterest board so anything that has a Pinterest image will be shared on there. It’s a group board so let us know if you’d like to be added so you can pin all your travel posts. I’ll also be sharing blog posts on Twitter, Facebook, and Flipboard. Feel free to use #familytraveltips on Instagram and Twitter too so we can retweet your tweets and give some love to your Instagram posts.
1.Any family travel related posts are welcome! This may include; but is not limited to days out, attractions, reviews and holidays.
2.Please include the Family Travel Tips badge on your post or link back to the hosts.
3.It would be amazing if you could comment on the two hosts posts plus two more posts that have linked up.
4.Tweet @plutoniumsox or @flyingwithbaby with the hashtag #familytraveltips1 for a retweet and use the hashtag on Instagram so we can show some love to your posts over there too.
5.The linky will go live once a fortnight on a Tuesday and will stay open until the following Tuesday.
6.We will each feature our favourite post from the previous week in the following week’s linky, so you’ll get an extra link from us if you’re chosen.
