Best Restaurants In Majorca For Kids

Understandably, there are so many restaurants throughout Majorca, but there are some that stand out above the rest for families thanks to their designated play areas and large expanses of grass that the little ones can blow off steam.

So, to make your holiday planning that little bit easier, I’ve put together a list of 10 of the best restaurants in Majorca for kids so you will always have a safe, reliable, and enjoyable restaurant option for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Café Palmanova, Esment

Cafe Botiga in Palmanova has both indoor and outdoor seating, but what draws many families to the café is the large terrace and lawn, equipped with hammocks and tables nearby. Your kids can run around under the Majorcan sun at Cafe Palmanova while you sit back and enjoy some quiet time with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.

Ca’n Costa, Carretera Valldemossa – Deià

There are a few different seating areas at the Ca’n Costa, with tables inside an old oil mill or tables outside on the terrace. Regardless of where you sit, you’ll get to taste some incredible Mallorcan food, and once you’ve finished up with your dinner, your kids can run around in the garden area and even play on the restaurant’s swings.

Don Caracol, S’Aranjassa

If you’re a family visiting Don Caracol restaurant, then you will more than likely be placed on the porch right by the children’s play area. The playground is cushioned with artificial grass, and there are slides, rocking toys, and an inflatable bouncy castle that is guaranteed to put a smile on your kid’s face the second they lay eyes on it.

El Balcon de Maria, Santa Ponsa

El Balcon de Maria really gives families the best of both worlds thanks to its incredible views of the Bay of Santa Ponsa and the indoor soft play area that will keep the little ones entertained for hours on end.

If you do plan to head to El Balcon de Maria for dinner, it’s recommended that you book a table in advance as the outdoor tables fill up quickly, especially at sunset time when drinks and tapas are in full swing.

Mesón Ca’n Pedro, Palma de Majorca

Mesón Ca’n Pedro, which is perched on top of a hill just outside of Palma, offers up fantastic views of the area, especially from its open-air terrace. As local families and repeat customers keep heading back to Mesón Ca’n Pedro, you know that the food is excellent and definitely worth trying.

While the little ones wait for their food, they can run off and play in the playground, possibly making some little Spanish friends in the process.

Quince Porto Cristo

Located in the charming village of Porto Cristo with panoramic views of the harbour – we love this spot and always visit when we are in Mallorca. With yummy food for all diets, including vegan and lots of fresh fish, meat and pasta. They cater well for kids as well as providing amazing food for adults.

Ponderosa Beach Club, Ca’n Picafort

A great lunch spot for the little ones is the Ponderosa Beach Club in Ca’n Picafort. The restaurant is situated right on the beach, so your kids can play nearby and come back when lunch is served.

Like many beaches throughout Majorca, the beach that the Ponderosa Beach Club sits on has beautiful soft sand and clear warm waters that make the perfect backdrop for al fresco dining.

Come night time, the restaurant switches and becomes a more adult-only venue with a DJ and cocktails, so if you have little ones in tow, it’s best to head there in the day.

There is also an outdoor seating area if you’d prefer to eat outside, and as the menu has a wide range of dishes, it is no wonder that this restaurant has become one of the most popular restaurants for families in Majorca.
